Project

ING Direct created 10 fun, family-oriented events. Locations included: Grand Designs Live exhibition, Excel, Hampton Court Flower Show, Swanage Regatta & Carnival and family days at RHS gardens around the country

Results

A very successfull summer of events

Brief

  • Recruit and oversee staff
    Two ING Direct teams, (Northern & Southern team) working simultaneously throughout the summer to maintain continuity across all events
  • Develop event briefing manuals
  • Organise staff training days
  • Logistics and hotel bookings… for up to 100 people per night staying at various venues
  • Event feedback, photos, analysis… from both Event managers
  • Post event qualitative analysis from all staff

Execution

The team were friendly, professional, well presented, full of initiative and a pleasure to work with. TQB selected the right people for the job and if there was an issue it was sorted out quickly and efficiently. There was a wonderful team spirit. This encouraged visitors to get involved in the ING Direct activities. It was nice not to get just a pretty face!

TQB worked closely with us throughout the summer. The team helped make the events a success due to their ability to work well to a brief whilst using their own initiative and experience where required

TQB are quick to respond and have a very “can do” attitude. We often had to ask them to sort out extra, last minute bits and pieces - this is always done quickly, efficiently and courteously

They also try their utmost not just to keep to budget but to save us money by going the extra mile with research and innovative solutions.
